Chemical Fogging

Decontamination COVID-19 Fogging Treatment Service

Coronavirus

The viral strain that causes COVID-19 is called SARS-CoV-2 and is highly resistant on surfaces and materials such as metal, glass, and plastic. The World Health Organisation at this time is uncertain of how long it can last once in the air.

As a single cough can produce up to approximately 3,000 droplets that could travel up to two metres from the source, COVID-19 poses a risk in contaminated air and on surfaces. If left untreated these can cause serious harm to health, be expensive to combat and can lead to the closure of premises for prolonged periods.

On commencing our chemical fogging treatment, it gets to work immediately and once the treatment is completed the treated spaces are free of any known bacteria and pathogen.

Why use our specialist
Chemical Fogging service?

Chemical Fogging/Anti-viral Fogging and Disinfection Fogging

Fogging involves using a machine to produce a fog like mist of tiny droplets of a sanitising solution. It is ideal for fighting airborne pathogens as well as covering large areas effectively.

Infection Prevention Control

An effective way to completely disinfect your home or business and it can be carried out on a reactive or planned regular basis. The process is quick and causes minimal disruption.

24/7 365 Days Response Call Outs

First Response Facilities Management can provide a rapid response as soon as a case of infection is reported. We cover London and surrounding counties but can call on service partners within our supply chain to provide national coverage.

Environmentally Friendly

Our treatment is completely non-toxic to humans, animals and the environment. By killing all bacteria and pathogens it provides a safer working environment for companies and employees!

Minimal Disruption to Working Environment

Through vaporisation all airborne and surface pathogens are killed. By using the fogging treatment there is no need to move furniture or equipment as the vapour mist disperses in to all hard to reach areas.

How Chemical Fogging Treatments Work

The decontamination infection control service is completely non-toxic, non-irritant and non-corrosive. This disinfection service is harmless to humans and animals, but we advise that the treated areas are vacated for approximately 60-90 minutes.

The chemical works by binding and penetrating micro-organisms to immobilise bacteria, viruses and fungi so that they cannot replicate. This leaves all surfaces disinfected and safe to use.

Step One

Our certified cleaning operatives complete an initial inspection when arriving on site to ensure the areas are clear of residents/employees prior to commencing our treatment process. Operatives then dress into appropriate PPE and prepare equipment.

Step Two

For the best results during our treatments, we use a fogging machine which produces a fog like mist that is dispersed into the air. This solution is ideal to fight airborne pathogens such as bacteria or viruses, this method also disinfects large areas effectively.

Step Three

Because disinfectant is dispersed into the atmosphere as a vapour, it coats all surfaces and hard to reach areas of a room.

Step Four

All our treatments are completed with a thorough wipe down of all touchpoint areas, in the treated room with Versan disinfectant for disease control.
